Ubisoft tactical shooter

finally seems promising, but some parts of the game is worth keeping an eye on.

With Rainbow 6: Patriots, Ubisoft Montreal wants to use the politics of resentment bubbling in dark corners, the Americans need. It is a game where most terrorist threat facing the United States comes from its own citizens - those bitter enough and well equipped to violently push their ideals to anyone they deem necessary. That the climate of lawlessness, political uncertainty is something that Ubisoft wants to use not only in history, but even the shooter gameplay itself. Give players what Ubisoft calls "constant ethical dilemmas", the game often requires players to share a small part of his humanity to a greater effect if you play in the Rainbow team against terrorism, terrorists, or citizens regular crossfire. This is an interesting pattern that looks very promising on the basis of what we have seen, but a game like this is exposed to scrutiny by its own nature. Here are some of the game that particularly caught our attention:

where you could go to right: Humanizing the Enemy

How many shooters today have to play where the enemy is a little more than a certain opposition force in the Middle East or Russian are only vaguely as targets in a meeting of the Turkey? With the Patriots, Ubisoft wants to humanize the enemy, showing their motivations, and even give you the chance to play in situations where they feel unsure of your actions. If done well, seeing the human side of the enemies we face could be quite the breath of fresh air in the genre.

Just a day in the life of Team Rainbow.

where it could go wrong: When Bad guys are good

Rainbow team leader is a guy named James Wolfe, who, according to Ubisoft, is a realist willing to take "shortcuts ethics" when necessary. In one case, the commands to launch an innocent civilian with a bomb strapped off a bridge because there is no time to distribute it. Since we are on the hope of his personality becomes an antihero morally complex, it is too early to dismiss the possibility can not be a fool unfriendly. We hope this is not the last, because there is no shortage of first-person shooter where players simply can not refer to a bad guy hard . In fact, pretty much most of the FPS.

where he could go right, morally ambiguous Gameplay
