"The Capcom's fiasco - when you want to call it that - fire under our butt to try to [IOS development] and see if we can be there to do something," Twisted Pixel CEO Mike Wilford told Touch Arcade. Of course, the "fiasco" er \ 's, which was on Capcom' s acquisition of Three Kingdoms

But forget about all of that: Twisted Pixel is working on an iOS game! "We're working on something. Nothing to announce yet. Hopefully, relatively soon we'll having something to share with you guys," Wilford said. While he played coy on what this new project is, Wilford did say that the staple of "character-driven IPs" created at Twisted Pixel provide potential for "a lot of fun stuff."

of Zelda on the N64, but it has been enhanced to match modern standards of clarity and resolution. It retains the cartoonish impressionism and the slightly drained patina, but the textures are more complex and many subtle effects have been tweaked. It does not look as good as, say, Kid Icarus promises too, but that is part of its charm: playing Ocarina of Time feels like nostalgic reverie, and the iconic visuals play into that.

This promise is particularly meaningful for PC gamers, with EA Sports noting that FIFA 12 on desktop platforms will this year include the series' Player Impact Engine. This inclusion will offer PC gamers improved player physics and other technical features found in the console versions.

E3: LittleBigPlanet Vita: Better than on PS3! (hands-on) screenshot

LittleBigPlanet Vita has to be felt in person to see. It 's beautiful! Sony to show up a small playable demo of how they worked in all of the new Vita-interface types in the LittleBigPlanet world. It was not 'ta long demo, but it has to show a really good job with both the seamless feel of the buttons and pads along with the touchscreen and touchpad. It also showed a game that I think looks better than the PS3 LittleBigPlanet .

The demo begins like a classic LBP level, complete with clean interplay between foreground and background. It was quickly ramps up to handle all the new ways you and interact with the Vita 's can show controls. The touch screen is used very heavily, and it seems to work very well. The selection was a costume for your Sackboy by touching the character and then do the preferred attire.

E3: Hot Shots Golf on Vita is my new jam (hands-on) screenshot

I 't talk the ear off of a golf game, but just know that I' m excited. I 'ma big fan of the franchise and I definitely let Sony know that tonight when I saw a demo of the upcoming version of Vita- Hot Shots Golf .

The short story is that it's still Hot Shots Golf. But know that it's so high-res that it's almost unbelievable. I asked why it looks so good. A developer told me that some of the models use up to four times the polygons that the PS3 version does. Some of the textures in the game are up to ten times the quality of those in the PS3 version. That's crazy. It is a really, really good looking game. The screenshots do not do it justice.

On the technology front, the developers have done a lot of Vita-specific controls. By touching the screen to the landing point for your ball. Strike of the whole tea leaves, you can scuff the road. This is the first HSG game you move your golfers around the tea can be, and it 's, made by back and forth on the touch screen. Flicking your finger across the touchpad back you can switch between camera views.

. That would be fantastic.

Now you too can feel the crippling insanity of being in the world of Raving Rabbids.

Next was flaming pong, where the Rabbids had used their arson skills to bring justice to blasphemous firefighters. At each round the Rabbids would toss out fiery marshmallows and toss them around. Players moved their firefighter up and down poles by lowering and raising their hands. The goal was to deflect the burning confection with their oxygen tanks and slam it into the enemy's side. With each point scored, the opposing player was granted an extension of the height of their oxygen tank.

We meet with members of the Ubisoft Montpellier development team and enjoy a long demonstration of The Adventures of Tintin.

After our brief look at The Adventures of Tintin at Ubisoft 's press conference yesterday, today we had the opportunity to make a presentation of the attending members of the Ubisoft Montpellier development team. Preceded by a short video introduction by film directors Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson, including the presentation of four different action sequences, all of which were shown in 3D.

The first sequence, titled "Fight Allan" for the purpose of the presentation was, trying Tim, a small group of enemies on board Captain Haddock 's ship, the Karaboudjan outwit. Mainly as a 2D side-scrolling platformer played, but with some excellent cinematic camera angles, in spots, this sequence also Tintin required to engage in some cartoonish fight. Oscillate as a hook to the fore made great use of 3D glasses we wore, Tim sneaked behind an enemy and incapacitate him from behind (yellow stars circling the enemy 's head as he let lie unconscious for us to know that he wasn 't dead) before dealing with another enemy, by sending a large pot upside down. Next up was a boss battle of species to Allan, the Terrible. Played on the same side of the perspective that most of the game seems to be fighting this Tintin was sent jumping between the platforms, while around one relatively small area is being pursued. To defeat deadly agents with Allan, Tintin had to collect bananas from all over the plane and then they throw in Allan 's way, so that he' d them to slip and slide straight into a wall eventually.

"Trouble in the Water" was shown the most impressive sequence. In her Karaboudjan was taking on water, and after a rapid sequence, in which Tintin and Haddock on the screen ran on the run from water flooding into the aisles, she took the camera 's normal position. As the pair continued their flight, the ship began to list quickly and landed in a near vertical position to remind Titanic . Was hung inside the ship, ladders railing on the ceiling, hallways were vertical wells, and wooden crates floating on the surface of the rising water served as a makeshift escalators. The entire process was contained hectic from start to finish, thanks in part to visual accents, the sparks from the ship 's electrical system and the impressive nature of the turbulent water.

Next we were given an extended look at the "on the same page" motorcycle sequence, while Ubisoft 's press conference was shown. This sequence, first saw the player, such as Tintin, the control of the motorcycle while Haddock sat in the sidecar with Nahsch?sse at enemies in front of them, the bombs were. Haddock didn 't seem to have a very good shot and so after some amusing banter, the couple decided to exchange for positions. With Haddock in the driver 's seat, Tintin was free to participate in some rail-shooter action, targeting enemies on motorcycles and even a helicopter.

The final sequence, called "In Time to \ join" wasn 't from the story mode, but completely separate from the cooperative mode assumed. This puzzle requires the two-level players, as Tim Haddock and to work together and use their character 'unique abilities to reach an exit. Tintin had a grappling hook to reach the high platforms, while Haddock was able to use his brute strength to destroy certain obstacles. Additionally, both characters have been transformed into a position in dogs when they through special gates in the plane, which caused some confusion in the presentation, until it was explained that the co-op levels are all on the basis of dreams , Captain Haddock is alleged to be passed.

The Adventures of Tintin: The Game is currently set for release in Europe and North America in October scheduled for December. We look forward to more information about the game, when we 're able to get our hands on a version of it.

If you thought you had a Kirby just too cute, imagine a whole bunch of them.

While waiting in the massive Nintendo booth line during the Electronic Entertainment Expo to see the newly announced Wii U, we had an opportunity to play a Japanese version of Kirby Mass Attack on the DS. Set to come out in September of this year, Nintendo described it as a "side-scrolling real-time strategy" game. On the surface it looks like a platformer, but instead of running and jumping, you are using the stylus to guide your troop of puffballs to safety.

Watch this cuteness.

The story is simple: Some evil person Kirby divided into 10 pieces and now he has to go on a quest to recover its original shape. After up to 10 mouths to feed would probably be a challenge, but we weren Mass Attack Kirby 't able to use his signature "inhale anything that crossed our path" talent. Instead, we have either knocked on a flood of Kirby's enemies (Kirbie?) Send to pounce on an opponent, or we could paint like crazy about the touch screen to deadly projectile in Kirby waddle dees start. Either way worked, although some of the bigger enemies require a certain tactic.

Your cursor is a star on the touch screen and the happy-go-lucky Kirby mob to follow your leaders faithfully stated. If you need to move to a higher level, you simply hold the stylus on the screen until they 're all marked in blue, and then you can go to trace a path for them. You 'll finally starts to bubble and the ink that you' ve drawn won 't last forever, but it' hold to sa convenient way to move on different levels, and the group together.

If you happen to hurt, some are unhappy Kirbys blue and yet you follow like a ghost Kirby. You can these guys with the pencil to it is by a pink ring in certain parts of a layer starting to revive. As we moved through the early stages, we had a good time either threw the poor guys in earthen blocks or pull knocking on the vines of plants to low so we could gather fruits. It was straight enough for us to learn at least a few steps and do not understand a word of what 's release, but Nintendo has stated that it mini-games as you will unlock progress through the game.

We 'll further information as soon as they are available to have. Keep an eye out for these fluffy army, when Kirby comes out on 19 Mass Attack September.

Nintendo's E3 audience 's new Wii console-U is an overwhelming response

Nintendo has the name of its new Wii console U. The machine, set to launch next year and previously known under the working title is Project Caf? is - as expected - complete with a controller function 6.2in ??touch-screen controls and motion sensors, as well as the usual number of buttons and analog sticks.

No pricing information was during the company 's packed pre-E3 press conference announced, but the architecture is a much more powerful than the Wii, supports HD video in 1080p and is therefore in the same performance bracket as the Xbox 360 and PS3. It is also compatible with previous Wii controller and the Wii Fit Balance Board, although peripheral with a new "Zapper ', which is like a Wiimote coming acts.

Explanation of the meaning of the name, said Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, it was a continuation of word games that launched with Wii, which designed to act like "we", ie including social and sound. The U stands for "You", highlighting the fact that the players in a position to games either on TV or on the controller 's very own screen. "Can it stand for a unique, coherent or utopian? The answer is yes, all these" he claimed.

Large screens showed videos of several players with the technology. One was someone playing a golf game in which the touch screen controller located on the ground in order to represent the down position. A ball on the screen, and the player is more than it did with a Wii Remote like a club, they then perform a swinging action belt the virtual ball on the fairway. In another demo, the touch pad acts as the sights on a weapon with the player moves the controller into different target areas of the screen. Some games will also employ the controller like a shield, it moved to attack to block.

But it 's the fact that the game experience from TV to the small screen in an instant, that is the most obvious suggestion can be turned on. "The new controller for Wii underground with its built-screen means that you have to give up don 't your game, if someone else comes into the room and wants to see a TV program," said Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata.

The presence of a forward-facing camera on the controller also allows for video chats appear with a friend in a small window on the TV while the game plays the biggest part of the screen. "We want a strong bond between the games, TV and Internet and create in a similar way between you and your friends your family," said Iwata. "This includes using the TV-screen videos that you enjoy \ found online or enjoy video chat, even if you re 'in front of the television."

Several games were for the new console, including a new version of the popular multiplayer fighting game Super Smash Brothers, the owners, it is the 3DS and Wii versions of the game U play against each other announced. Wii is also the U exlcusive Lego City Stories game of Lego Star Wars creator TT Games - an open world filled with adventure custiomisable vehicles.

Nintendo showed a lot of support from third-party publisher. Key titles like Darksiders II, Tekken, Batman: Arkham City and Assassin 's Creed is coming to the console. There was a definite attempt to show that, unlike the casual gamer-friendly Wii, Wii U will also be geared towards the hardcore gamer audience. "This system was designed to appeal to all people \ especially experienced players," Iwata said. It is an interesting move for Nintendo, a return to earlier machines such as the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the N64, which attracted a loyal user base "core" player.

The E3 audience gave the panel an overwhelming response, and with enormous support from industry, this is another potential revolution of the company that has always renewed by ideas rather than technical specifications. "U Wii will change the way you play the game," Fils-Aime promised. It is a boast in the past, Nintendo has often made, most recently with its console, Nintendo 3DS, and it's a swagger of veteran producer is more than capable of delivering on.

The renamed Sony NGP in winter will cost $ 249 and will come with a number of social networking features for gamers

So, as widely guessed in the media, the Sony NGP is now called PlayStation Vita and it's launching this winter, with a Wi-Fi-only model at $249 (?151) and a 3G and Wi-Fi model at $299.

The award announcement drew cheers from the 6,000-strong audience at the Sony 's E3 press conference on Monday - many experts predicted the console would debut at $ 349 or more.

But it 's not only lower than expected price that the console is in very direct competition with the Nintendo 3DS - Sony would like multiple functions of Vita, which correspond closely with the rival machine highlight.

Social networks, for example, is an important functionality. The unit comes with a service called closeness that you compare with other nearby Vita owners to connect to trophies and can come to socialize. It 's very similar to the 3DS street right concept, which automatically swaps data between the game consoles as players pass in the street.

Vita is also a chat system called party room, the owners enjoy talking with other players via a headset can provide. It 'll work on games, so that colleagues still talk, if they' re both playing different things - a key social element in the early success of Xbox Live.

Introducing Vita was Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Kaz Hirai also like to point out the Gadget 's front and rear-facing cameras, and the potential for augmented reality gaming.

"We 're confident that PlayStation Vita is the first product that really the line between interactive entertainment software and your life experience," he said. And yes, Nintendo 3DS offers Augmented Reality functionality, which issued in the six AR-free mini-games that come free with the console.

There were some very popular game demos at the event also. We saw a level of Uncharted: Golden Abyss, a Vita-exclusive spin-off from the hugely successful PS3 action-adventure series. Set in and around a crumbling temple, it 's graphically extremely strong, with advanced visual effects such as water-modeling and dynamic lighting to create a densely detailed and atmospheric conditions.

Developer Sony Bend Studio has sent a dual control system that the players choose the PS3 for the classic controls, or a new set of options can be integrated Vita.

For example, players can draw with the touch screen for combat, tapping an enemy or the environment from various moves. We 're also a section where hero Nathan Drake has a treacherous rock wall appears scale, the motion can be used to direct it left or right to be - players simply tilt the console. When run on a precipice, a tap on the screen do a jump, and when navigating along towering projections on the wall and wiped the screen makes Nathan swinging from one to another.

It 's also a new mode that allows you to plot a climbing course for the character, allowed by a route on the screen, then lifts the arm and the relevant steps.

Sony also mentioned that the panel 's innovative touch pad used to come back, but wouldn' t, as I said. And again, most actions are also carried out with the keys so luddite joypad jockeys can only with what they do stick.

Another exciting announcement was made Ruin (working title), a top-down action role-playing as amended, for both CV and PS3. Reminiscent of a slightly lighter, more playful Diablo, it 'sa classic "explore the dungeon, fight the bad guys and grab the loot' experience, but with some elements of social connectivity.

It seems that there are multiplayer elements of the main mode, allowing players to pop into each others' games, helping or hindering whoever they find. Yep, sounds like Demon's Souls, but apparently Ruin also features Twitter connectivity, and a sort of Tower Defence feel, with players building lairs that have to be protected against incoming invaders – these lairs get more powerful as the player progresses and earns more loot.

But here 's the amazing part. Both the PS3 and the Vita-use versions of a cloud-based game store mechanism, and they 're compatible with each other. This means you can play the Vita-version on the bus, save it, and when you get home, take in the same place on the PS3. Apparently, saving and loading of the cloud is extremely fast, and it 'sa really need, in addition to the usual interplay between handheld and home consoles (although, of course, you' ll need buy both versions of the game, unless the PS3 one is a free download).

Another audience to like about the press conference was the revelation that Street Fighter X Tekken, the fighting game that combines the two biggest franchises in the genre, Vita is coming. Producer Yoshinori Ono came to show to the stage that showed the game and how the touchscreen can be used to access can move.

He also revealed that the game appareance a guest of Cole, the lead character in superhero adventure inFamous function. His electrifying attacks and flying kicks fit right in, as it seems.

There were also two remakes of classic Vita PlayStation titles. Sony is building a new version of its popular racing game ModNation Racers, with a design-your-own-control option that uses the touch screen is an intuitive drag and drop functionality. Track selected pieces then thrown on the screen and corners are created by tilting the console at the required angle.

Awesome, can the rear touchpad tapping on the mountains around the tracks (the longer you press, the higher the peak) to build, while the front screen can be pressed to wells that are filled with water to create lakes can create be. And if the CV version is released, players will be able to download the 2m tracks already created the PS3 version.

In a similar vein, a beautiful version of Vita-physics-based platformer LittleBigPlanet, the touch controls to build your own mini-games and levels more easily. A short trailer showing the motion controls used to scroll around a barrel on the screen while at it 's also possible to take photos and use elements of the images to provide the environment, or even create enemy characters. We 're shown, a player who has a photo of a girl who cut her hair and she as a pair of legs for a marauding giant.

Of course, many games journalists emerging after the two-hour show even more skeptical that it 'sa mass market for another specialist handheld games console. But Vita is for all the right bases, innovative use of familiar elements such as touch screens, cameras and accelerometers, forging useful links with the PS3.

Have Oddly highlighted Augmented Reality as a selling point, showed Sony off very little of this functionality (although, for example, was demonstrating an AR-beat 'em-up called Reality Fighters, which uses outside camera to your real-world environment into an arena for the characters to the fight), but more news will no doubt trickle out through the rest of E3.

For now, Vita is a curious fact that on the verge of winning larger audiences than many can be expected.
