Sony confirms release date for the global labor Vita

Sony announced the release date for their PlayStation Vita hand unit. The campaign will be launched across Europe and the United States on February 22. Jack Tretton, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment of America, revealed the launch date in a speech at the Web 2.0 conference on Tuesday.

The device is available in two configurations: a model of Wi-Fi and 3G combined and only Wi-Fi issue. They are priced at £ 229.99 (? 249) and £ 279.99 (? 299), respectively.

Vita also offers a wide range of social networking features, including video chat, and access to Twitter and Facebook. The device also has a service called proximity that allows owners to communicate about Vita and exchange data automatically. It will also be compatible with the PlayStation 3 - some games can be played in both formats.
