dogfighting sim series reaches milestone payments over the world, and finally on the horizon by storm, ready to take off Xbox 360 and PS3.

Just before the Battle of Ace next week: the debut Assault horizon, Namco Bandai shared word today that the Ace Combat series has surpassed 10 million worldwide sales. The publisher also revealed that Horizon Assault demo has been downloaded more than 1.2 million times since its launch on Xbox Live and PSN just over three weeks.

Ace Combat series has not exactly crashed and burned. Ace Combat series began in aerial combat debut in the arcades in 1992 and jumped into the PlayStation in 1995. Since the adoption of the name of Ace Combat Ace Combat 2 in 1997, was mainly a trademark of Sony specific, apart from excursions such as the Xbox 360 in 2007-Ace Combat 6 and only 2005 for Game Boy Advance Ace Combat Advance of title. Horizon assault marks the launch of the first home console to be available on multiple platforms. Namco Bandai is trying to offer an experience of more action and heavy on the horizon assault, saying it would provide a more realistic story, new flyable aircraft including helicopters, a new short-range attack and new online modes. The editor also pointed out that any game previous Ace Combat provided a "quick and in your face" experience.
