Electronic Arts today confirmed that Bio-Ware developed MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic will begin Dec. 20 in North America and Europe on December 22. Since June, the publisher has been proclaimed a general 2011 release window for the game. The publisher said that limiting the number of Star Wars: The Old Republic Copies will be available at launch, through retail and online to ensure server stability. While EA has already established the exact number of copies sold is not the announcement of this number. As the turnover is achieved, the publisher plans to stop selling digital through your store, while expanding the ability to download the original server. Electronic Arts said in February that The Old Republic will be "highly profitable" with only 500,000 subscribers, with something over 1 million monthly users to make the game "very profitable".
