Fans have been waiting seven years for id Software's Rage, the first original intellectual property for the consoles from the developer since 1996 's Quake. You 'll have to wait a bit longer, as id has the game back from its previously announced 13th Release Date September pushed, and it will now arrive in stores on 4 October.

Anger builds nothing like a good delay.
During the delay, the developers more time to work on the game, it also sets the open-world first-person shooter against some stiff competition. Among the games currently scheduled for release on the same day are Dark Souls, Twisted Metal, NBA 2K12, and The Darkness II
Rage is on a post-apocalyptic Earth in the midst of recovering from a collision with an asteroid, where people came from are set U 'arks "similar to the vault in the Fallout games. Players assume the role of a survivor that has emerged from the Ark and later became a series of performance-enhancing nanotechnology and some powerful ranged weapon equipped. It is based on the id Tech 5 engine, the latest development toolset on the company 's chief technical officer John Carmack based manual labor.
